Registration open for Africa MICE Forum in Nigeria

Registration is now open for the premier edition of Africa MICE Forums (AMF), a series of interactive high-end events designed to connect pre-qualified MICE buyers and local suppliers through fun and authentic experiences across various host destinations.

Obinna Nwachuya, convener of the AMF said: “The goal is to propel MICE business across the continent in relatable ways that effectively spark ideas and foster real connections necessary to move minds and businesses forward.”

Nwachuya explained AMFs will be intimate, short forums of 40-60 participants with each event running for two nights and one day.

He told CMW: “AMF has been designed as family-sized to house its nomadic nature without compromising its main objective of creating a relationship-focused environment for prime business deals. With each event, we're are offering fewer and only necessary appointments, prioritising local experiences and also giving host destinations the wand to shine. A truly immersive experience you can't grasp at huge gatherings.

Managing director of Cross River State Tourism Bureau, in Calabar, Nigeria, Utsu John Atsu, said he was excited to be co-hosting the first event.

AMF is inviting applications from both local and international MICE buyers. All hosted buyers at AMF will be pre-qualified based on the number and scale of events organised, budgets held and decision-making power.

The first forum will be held at the Marina Resort Calabar, Nigeria from 29-31 October 2020.

Registration is at: www.africamiceforums.com until 31 August 2020
