Steel Tech, Congress & Expo, returns to the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) 25-27 October 2023, organised by Siderex and BEC in collaboration with UNESID – the Union of Iron and Steel Companies, the SPRI Group and the Basque government.
This second edition of the international event in southern Europe for the steel sector will offer national and international speakers who will address the major challenges and trends in the sector. Collaborative Platforms and Resilience will be the main themes of the Congress.
Steel Tech 2023 have a Technical Poster Area and Innovation Workshops, and will offer technical visits to plants, an after-work event and a gala dinner, at which the Steel Tech Awards will be presented.
The exhibition section will include supplier companies from the various levels of the value chain of the iron and steel sector. The business areas represented will mainly cover steel mills, steel transformers, machinery and equipment, components and spare parts, raw materials, waste managers, cranes and handling, special services for steel mills, technology centres, laboratories and test centres.
