Switzerland - MCH Swiss Exhibition, the Basel-based MCH Group subsidiary has bought 100 per cent of Fallanden company Exhibit and More.
The MCH Group subsidiary took out a 40 per cent holding in Exhibit and More, based in Fallanden, in July 2007.
Exhibit and More will continue to operate as an independent company within the group, holding the exhibitions IFAS (a trade fair for the healthcare market), Prodex (machine tools, tools, and production measurement), Sicherheit (fire, safety, security) and the Orbit-iex follow-on event, Community36 (ICT professional exhibition for business solutions), as well as IFAS Romandie and Securite Romandie, in Basel, Zurich and Lausanne.
A spokesman for the MCH Group said that the potential for synergy between the shows can be “exploited to an even greater extent”, thanks to the total ownership of Exhibit and More.
Urs Ingold will continue as manager of Exhibit and More, as well as becoming a member of the joint management board for MCH Group subsidiaries MCH Exhibitions and MCH Infrastructure.
