Events Venture Group (EVG), a newly formed collective of founders, entrepreneurs, event operators, and industry thought leaders, has made its first investment.
Quantum World Congress (QWC), which will take place from 16-18 September 2025 at Capital One Hall in Greater Washington, US, has become the first beneficiary of EVG’s funding, mentorship and collaborative support.
Stu Solomon, who heads up QWC said: “”Working with EVG has already been transformative for QWC, providing us with both capital, invaluable insights, and a powerful network to drive innovation.
QWC is at the forefront of leveraging quantum technology across defence, aerospace, life sciences, and cybersecurity sectors. Doug Emslie, part of EVG, experienced this year’s event in person. He said: “The event was more international than I expected with strong representation from Japan, Korea, Scandinavia, Canada, Germany, the UK, and Australia. It had a good mix of academics, government, corporates, and venture capitalists.”
For entrepreneurs, EVG is a gateway to transformational resources and support. For industry leaders, EVG membership offers a chance to join an elite group of changemakers driving the next wave of innovation in events.
