Ben Veechai, former vice-president of marketing and corporate communications of Informa Markets Asia, is joining industry consultancy jwc GmbH as managing director for Southeast Asia.
Based in Bangkok, Thailand, Veechai will be charged with growing and coordinating projects in Southeast Asia.
Veechai has had a long career in the B2B space starting with marketing and project management roles for IDG’s InfoWorld, PC World, and Macworld brands. He later joined UBM America’s Game Developer portfolio serving as marketing director for the brand’s four global conferences and editorial publications for five years. In 2011, he relocated to Hong Kong to serve as UBM Asia’s vice-president of marketing and corporate communications through 2020 and through the company’s acquisition by Informa.
