International fair poster competition: deadline for entry – 5 September

UFI members have until 5 September to submit their entries for the 25th Annual International Fair Poster Competition – a competition that celebrates creativity and originality of modern exhibition marketing, in the classical poster format.

International Fair Plovdiv has organised the competition since 1997 and is proud to coordinate the entries and host this year’s jury once again. Since 2003, UFI has also taken part in its organisation.

The competition will take place in September 2023 during the International Technical fair in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, 14-17 September.

Open only to UFI members, participants are invited to take part in this art-of-the-fair competition in the following categories:

Category 1 – Generic Promotion: General image posters promoting the exhibition industry as a whole.

Category 2 – Exhibition Event Posters: Promotion of the exhibition industry on the subjects of ‘Face-to-Face’ or post-pandemic recovery.  For details on entering the competition click here

All posters will be displayed during the event, with the winner and nominations gaining special visibility during the event. Winners will be presented with the Grand Award, an original statuette and a certificate.

Last year’s Grand Winner was “Experience the rush”, by senior art director, Parag Bandodkar and senior visualiser, Kamlesh Murudkar, from Informa Markets India, at the 24th International Fair Poster Competition.

The jury said it had been impressed by the concept and clever execution of “Experience the rush”, depicting a crowded fair reflected in a man’s animated eyes.
