World - Easyfairs will launch 30 new shows each year for the next three years in a bid to double its size.
The company, which currently runs 90 exhibitions in 16 countries, also plans to expand its existing shows and acquire events to fuel its growth. In December, Easyfairs acquired Dublin’s SHOP show from Mercury Event Management and Belfast’s IFEX from Expo Events to strengthen its presence in Ireland.
Jean-François Quentin, a founding member of the Easyfairs management team and chief operating officer since 2004, has been appointed chief executive officer to drive the expansion.
“I am very excited by the challenge of further developing Easyfairs as the reference brand for low cost trade shows that deliver return on investment to exhibitors, as well as excellent value for visitors’ time. To do this, we must maintain a focus on our proven strengths,” he says.
