India - The co-location of the first BioFach India with the India Organic Trade Fair will boost the country’s burgeoning organic market say organisers.
BioFach India is the latest offering from the BioFach family, which is organised by Nürnberg Global Fairs, the international subsidiary of Nürnberg Messe. The merger of the two events will provide the market with a stronger platform for growth at a time when the government is supporting the sector with financial packages and funding programmes.
Managing director of Nürnberg Global Fairs Herta Krausmann says: “The demand for organic products and especially for raw materials of organic origin is increasing worldwide. India with its cultural tradition and market structure offers enormous potential. The supply of organic products is growing strongly and the demand is also expanding noticeably.”
Other BioFach exhibitions take place in Boston, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Shanghai and Nürnberg.
