China - Chinese event organiser Reed Huabo Exhibitions has partnered with another organiser in China to strengthen its gift and houseware exhibition in Beijing.
The new joint venture, titled Reed Huaqun Exhibitions, unites Reed with Qunxue Expo, the organiser behind the Beijing International Gifts, Artware and Houseware Exhibition, to grow its gift and houseware event portfolio across northern China.
Managing director of Reed Huabo, Mike Jiang, says the new outfit is tapping into a lucrative sector of the Chinese economy. “As the world’s largest gift producer, China boasts an average annual growth rate in more than 15 per cent of its gifts manufacturing industry, which has been fuelled by China’s steady GDP growth and continuous improvement of people’s living standards,” he comments.
Reed Huaqun will hold a gift and houseware exhibition in spring and autumn under the brand of Gifts | Home · Beijing. The event will take place simultaneously at the China World Trade Centre Exhibition Hall and the National Agriculture Exhibition Center from 21-24 August with an exhibition area of 28,000 square meters, and be staged at a single venue from 2010 onwards.
