China - The Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre (ZZICEC) has taken top spot in an annual award event for Chinese exhibitions.
The venue, which hosted 296 international and national events and more than 3,540,000 visitors in the past three years, came first in the China Top 10 Brand Exhibition Centres category in the 5th China International Events Festival held in Chengdu.
Key events held at the venue include PharmChina, the International Pharmaceutical Machinery Expo, China Automobile Parts Fair and China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition.
The venue has been managed by Hong Kong - Shanghai Venue Management (Zhengzhou) since June 2006. Company chairman Cliff Wallace says the award demonstrates ZZICEC’s suitability for hosting national and international exhibitions.
“The commitment of the Zhengzhou Municipal Government on developing Zhengzhou as the leading convention and exhibition city in Central China is indispensable,” he adds.
Zhengzhou was also named in the China Top 10 Brand Exhibition Cities in the event.
