Poznan trade fair becomes more fashionable

Poland - This year’s Poznan fashion trade fair is growing with a new event on ready-to-wear clothing collections.

The Fast Fashion exhibition premieres during the Poznan International Trade Fairs on 2-4 September, showcasing manufacturers of Polish and international ready-to-wear collections.

It takes place alongside Tex–Style, an exhibition on accessories and clothes production: the BTS shoe and leather fair; Next Season and Body Style exhibitions.

“Having in mind all the fairs’ participants, we have introduced several important changes with regard to the organization of events for the clothing and textile industry. The Fast Fashion Exhibition is a new event for traders interested in the latest collections,” says fair manager MaÅ‚gorzata Nowak-SowiÅ„ska, adding that the other fashion fair events will also ”change their formula”.

This year the fairs include a match-making programme for exhibitors and visitors in an attempt to increase the amount of business conducted during the event. Increased advertising support will also be available to exhibitors.

Seminars and training throughout the event centres around woven fabrics and accessories for the winter-autumn season 2010/2011, trends in ready-to-wear clothes for the spring-summer season 2010, and brand management, effective marketing and visual merchandising.
