World Exhibition Stand Resilience Awards winners announced

The World Exhibition Stand Resilience Awards, designed to help the exhibition design community celebrate how they have adapted over the past year of the pandemic, has announced its slate of deserved winners.

Global agencies were keen to enter these new awards to show how they have demonstrated great resilience to overcome difficult and challenging situations and deliver great solutions for their clients.

With entries from all across the globe, the interest showed that there is no single country or company that hasn’t been affected by this global pandemic.

Creativity on display certainly hasn’t taken a backwards step: with entries illustrating a gamut of innovative achievements, from using current skills to create completely new areas to their business, such as creating pop up desks, to turning a client’s event fully virtual in a matter of days.

Among the winners there was double success for Brandfuel, which won Diamond Best Company/Staff Support Plan and Platinum for Best Client Solution for a One-Off Event for its client The Advertising Association. The Best Pivot to Virtual  was judged to be  OrangeDoor awarded Diamond for their project ‘Go Beyond the Senses’, a partner incentive programme with Dell Technologies.

And SharpEnd were awarded Platinum with their project, ‘Fly Campari Group’ for best Pivot to Virtual for a client.

There was plenty of resilience with companies adapting and Best New Product Development Platinum Awards went to Expo Centric for Portable Desk Manufacture and Creaplan for their Health Display.
All the winners can be found in the online directory, here

“The World Exhibition Stand Resilience Awards were set up to provide the industry an opportunity to show off their creative responses to the last 12months and the winners of the awards have shown this in abundance. The judges were really impressed by how so many global companies had adapted in the face of adversity and provided clever solutions for their clients. Congratulations to all the winners, all very well deserved,” said Lisa Farnfield, awards manager, World Exhibition Stand Awards

The main ‘mothership’ World Exhibition Stand Awards 2021 will continue with this theme of providing global companies the opportunity to celebrate how they have adapted and have included new digital activation and new product development categories in their awards this year. These awards will close for entries on 6 May 2021. Please visit: worldexhibitionstandawards.com to see the categories and how to enter.

The World Exhibition Resilience Awards were opened late January 2021. They were made up of six new categories celebrating the adaptations, new products, activations and creative responses to the global pandemic. They were created to celebrate the creativity and resilience in the exhibition design and build sector. The World Exhibition Stand Awards, owned by Mash Media Group, launched in 2018 to provide stand design and creative agencies the platform to win awards for their live exhibition stand projects. In 2020 there were over 159 winners from more than 60 global design agencies and brands from Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia.
