The International Exhibition Logistics Association (IELA) is launched an Operations Day online on 5 December, 2024. The event will run from 2pm to 3.30pm CET and will involve organisers, venue owners, service providers, and IELA members to collaboratively address emerging challenges and leverage new opportunities within the exhibition and event industry.
Operations Day aims to facilitate dynamic discussions around the most pressing issues impacting the industry and the agenda will cover key themes, including:
- Attracting and nurturing talent
- How the industry can engage and retain skilled professionals in an increasingly competitive market?
- Ensuring operational safety
- With reduced build-up and dismantling periods, how can we manage safe sold-out venues?
- Promoting sustainability and how can the exhibition and event industry lead the way?
- Integrating AI and innovative technologies
- The Futures Landscape Study: A year-long project examining the emerging issues and supporting trends that are most likely to shape the business events industry in the years to come.
- The EIC Futures Landscape Report, which is planned to be released in Q4 2024.
IELA’s Operations Day will feature a line-up of distinguished experts, including:
