Fira de Barcelona, Barcelona’s largest trade fair institution, resumes its on-site activity this September with all the security measures in place and with the aim of contributing to economic and social reactivation.
In total, more than 40 shows, congresses, and various events are planned to take place at the Montjuic and Gran Via venues, adapted to the current context. The agenda starts, 14 September, with the Expoquimia, Equiplast, and Eurosurfas trade shows, events for the chemical, plastics and surface treatment industries, followed by IAAPA Expo Europe, an event for the leisure and attractions sector, which will be held in the last week of September.
One event this autumn will be Automobile Barcelona, which will be held 30 September-10 October. Other events in September include Fòrum Gastronòmic Barcelona, which will bring together chefs, companies, and food professionals; Swab, and Manga Barcelona. In November, Bizbarcelona and the Saló de l'Ocupació, focused on economic reactivation and entrepreneurship, Handmade Festival, Expo Sports, and the Ocasión show, will take place.
In the professional sphere, it is worth highlighting the Smart City Expo World Congress, an international summit on smart cities, and Barcelona Building Construmat, which will be held in conjunction with Piscina & Wellness Barcelona, the World Hospital Congress (IHF Barcelona), Cosmetorium, Efintec and meetings industry show IBTM World, among other events in the pipeline.

Fira de Barcelona has the Safe Travels label, the world's first global travel and tourism health safety seal, awarded by the World Travel Tourism Council (WTTC).
