Surrey-based Setsquare Staging, one of the UK’s leading event construction businesses, has acquired print and interior design specialists Enigma Visual Solutions, as well as event and print production company GTMS.
Both acquisitions are part of a strategic development that has helped transform Setsquare into a £20m (US$25.48m) company.
Creative Director and founder of Setsquare, John O’Gorman, says: “We are extremely excited to embark on this new venture. Both Enigma and GTMS are specialists within the print, build and staging industries, delivering creative solutions to clients on an international level. We will combine our services to produce industry leading solutions. We will be building branded environments second to none.”
Reno Macri, founder of Enigma Visual Solutions, which has grown from a sign and graphics business to producing modular and custom exhibition stands, as well as interior design and installations, adds: “Over the last 10 years Setsquare has been an invaluable partner, helping us expand into new and exciting sectors. To secure the future of Enigma and its continuous growth, the opportunity to be part of Setsquare has not come at a better time for us and our clients. With the amazing resources now on offer, we can satisfy our clients with the added expertise of Setsquare and GTMS.”
Dominik Short, Managing Director of GTMS, says his company is “ready to take on greater challenges and Setsquare have the knowledge and qualities to help us do so”.
Enigma and GTMS will both continue to operate from Marlow and Waterlooville respectively, while Setsquare will advance its creative and technical hub.
Recent Setsquare Staging projects include the Ford FOCUS Letters tour and the award-winning Samsung Infinity Room.
Recent Enigma projects include The Virgin Media Wave Bar nationwide campaign, Ferrari stand at Autosport and Nitto ATP world tennis finals at the O2.
While GTMS was responsible for the AMEX Centurion Lounge London, E-On container project at Observation point and Far East Asia’s largest Mirror maze experience in Singapore.
