Top Marques, the luxury automotive event based in Monaco, has been acquired by global exhibition organiser Informa plc. The move is likely to signal a strengthening of the organiser's long-term partnership with the Principality.
Top Marques' next edition will mark= the 20th anniversary of the show and is set to run in Monaco 7-11 May 2025.
Top Marques Monaco has been showcasing the latest innovations in supercars, hypercars, classic cars, as well as luxury lifestyle products, since its inception in 2004, and has been the launch platform for over 100 new supercar models.
“Luxury is a fast-growing market, and thanks to our partnership with Monaco, we have developed a unique portfolio of specialist brands. Top Marques Monaco is a valuable addition with strong growth potential, both in Monaco and internationally,” said Stephen Carter, CEO of the Informa Group.
Salim Zeghdar, of Monaco Check-In, the long-time organiser of Top Marques Monaco, said: “Informa’s extensive international network and expertise in scaling specialist brands make them the ideal partner to elevate Top Marques Monaco to even greater heights.”
Informa has been running the Monaco Yacht Show for over a decade now and has since expanded into other luxury markets. The organiser’s partnership with the destination now covers sectors, including yachting, art, aviation and lifestyle.
Integrating Top Marques into the Informa portfolio follows Informa’s recent proposed acquisition of Ascential plc, which includes brands such as Cannes Lions and Money20/20, and the build out of its Informa Festivals business.
