The 37th Thailand International Motor Expo 2020 attracted 1.2m visitors and saw over 33,000 car orders placed.
The show ran 2-13 December 2020 in the IMPACT venue, Bangkok, and Loy Joon How, 2nd GM at the Exhibition and Convention Centre, said that given the current situation around Covid the show had been considered a great success even though the figures were down around 10% on last year. Khwanchai Paphatphong, president of the ‘37 Motor Expo’ also said he considered this year’s event "a success", with 31 car manufacturers and 20 motorcycle makers in attendance during the 12-day expo.
This year SUVs accounted for 40.4 of sales, up on the previous year's 33.4%.
