RAI Amsterdam has opened a new front for its Hall 5, which is in use for Integrated Systems Europe (ISE).
The new space is a modern, multifunctional exhibition and conference space with a glass façade. ISE is the largest trade exhibition in the field of audio-visual technology.
The renovated Hall 5 is a design by Benthem Crouwel Architects, previously responsible for designing three modern additions to the RAI – the Elicium & Amtrium buildings and the new parking garage – while fully respecting the original work by RAI architect Alexander Bodon.
The main entrance of Hall 5 has been moved to the side of the Amtrium, ensuring a quieter life for neighbourhood residents during events. The expansion of the 4,000 m² hall can easily be linked to the adjacent Europa Hall. The new wing looks and feels like a single consistent space.
