V-Malaysia 2019, a five-day annual convention organised by direct selling company QNET, returned to Penang 23–27 April at Setia SPICE Convention Centre and Setia SPICE Arena respectively. The event welcomed around 13,000 entrepreneurs from more than 30 countries to Penang.
A key attraction this year was the QNET Carnival which showcased over 50 brands of QNET products in one of the biggest exhibitions ever held by the company.
QNET is a subsidiary of the QI Group of Companies and retails a variety of products for wellness, personal care and beauty, holidays, home care and e-learning courses around the world.
Themed ‘Lead to Inspire to Lead’, the opening ceremony was graced by YB Professor Dr P. Ramasamy Deputy Chief Minister II of Penang, Executive Chairman of QI Group Dato Sri Vijay Eswaran and Deputy Chairman Joseph Bismark.
“Penang is a world-renowned tourist destination and acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage City. This Northern Malaysian state, furthermore, is also making significant inroads and gaining recognition as a preferred Business Events destination,” said Professor Dr. P. Ramasamy at the Opening Ceremony.
“We brought in around 250 staff from all over the world to support us at this convention and give our participants an unparalleled experience,” said QNET’s Chief Executive Officer, Malou Caluza.
