New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) has selected Ungerboeck Software as the new venue’s event management solution. Construction of the 32,500sqm facility is set to be New Zealand’s largest conference, exhibition and entertainment space.
NZICC will have capacity for 2,700 people, convention capacity for 3,150 and one-off events for 4,000 and is due to open in 2019.
Callum Mallett, general manager of operations at NZICC, explained the thought process behind the partnership with Ungerboeck: “We properly evaluated three solutions in our search for a venue management solution. Two of the booking and CRM systems answered many of the questions we had, but only Ungerboeck covered the remit of almost everything on our wish list, and had the real pedigree in the international convention market.
