Exhibition World Bahrain unveils busy international event calendar

Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) is gearing up for a busy calendar of high-profile international events. From October 2024 through early 2025, the venue will host a range of high-profile exhibitions and conferences.

October kicks off with Fintech Forward, organised by the Bahrain Economic Development Board, a showcase of the latest innovation in financial technology. That is followed by World Routes, a major aviation event stemming from a strategic collaboration between the Bahrain Airport Company, Gulf Air and event organiser Informa Markets. The collaboration will bring he largest global aviation networking event to Bahrain.

The EWB venue will also host the International Maintenance, Reliability & Asset Management Conference (MAINTCON) 2024 in mid-October, and the 9th United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNTWO) Gastronomy Forum in mid-November.

November also brings Informa Markets’ leading events Jewellery Arabia, Scent Arabia, and Cityscape Bahrain back to Exhibition World Bahrain, held concurrently for the third time.

Moving into 2025, EWB will host a roster of events that will include the 3rd GCC Law and Arbitration Week, and closing January with the Educational Supplies and Technology Fair.

In February, Bahrain International Garden Show, an exhibition dedicated to horticulture and landscaping, returns to EWB, followed by the Global Water Energy and Climate Change Congress.

Commenting on the upcoming events, Mrs Sara Ahmed Buhiji, the CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and chairman of Exhibition World Bahrain, said: “We are thrilled to unveil a new roster of events over the coming months, many of which are debuting in Bahrain for the first time. Exhibition World Bahrain is poised to become a cornerstone of Bahrain’s business tourism strategy, and our attraction of major global events further cements this.”

Inaugurated in November 2022 EWB is owned by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA).   

In addition to 10 large Exhibition Halls, EWB’s Convention Centre features a Grand Hall and an adjacent Meeting Hub of 19 meeting rooms.
