Gregor Bischkopf is joining the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) - based in Brussels - as executive director. He will take over from Uta Goretzky in full by the end of the year.
With years of experience in business development for trade shows, Gregor will bring a new perspective to the IFES team.
The Executive Board gave thanks to Uta Goretzky, who brought “financial stability” to the association. She was responsible for shaping events such as the World Summit and the Global Village at EuroShop. For the first time in its 40 years of history, IFES now exceeds 300 members – an achievement due in large part to the leadership of Uta Goretzky.
