IMEX Group CEO Carina Bauer has received the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry award at the AEO (Association of Event Organisers) Excellence Awards on 14 June.
This award, decided by the AEO Board, honours someone who has made an outstanding contribution to the business events industry throughout their career.
Carina Bauer said: “I’m honoured to receive this recognition and immensely grateful to the AEO. To be included within the roster of names before me is truly humbling. Serving the industry on the AEO Board and as chair was a privilege and learning opportunity.”
Chris Skeith OBE, CEO of the AEO, said: “Carina was chair of the AEO during a very challenging period for our industry – her strategic leadership, sound judgement, and incredible emotional intelligence were invaluable. Throughout her tenure, she drove positive change, leaving a lasting legacy for the AEO. We are hugely grateful for her help and support.”
