The Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (MACEOS) has announced the launching of EVENTXPO 2024. To be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), 19-21 August, the event will be part of the Malaysia Business Events Week (MBEW) this year, an annual show produced by Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).
Carrying the theme, ‘Everything, Everywhere, Events!’, the trade show aims to be a one-stop marketplace of the latest business events products, services, technology, trends, and insights, that will help to sharpen industry growth.
The announcement was made at the MACEOS Annual General Meeting (AGM), 23 May, by outgoing president Francis Teo: “After months of planning and coordinating, we’re excited to roll out EVENTXPO 2024 as a gathering to spark new ideas and innovations, connections and collaborations.”
EVENTXPO 2024 will feature interactive workshops, pocket talks by industry experts, and a careers fair for students and professionals to explore job opportunities within the industry. The MACEOS Youth Challenge, a signature annual event to encourage youths to share their best business events ideas, will also be held.
MACEOS also announced its latest Executive Committee line-up at its AGM held at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).
Datuk Dr M Gandhi, founder and chairman of Bumiati Holding Sdn Bhd, takes over the MACEOS leadership from outgoing president Francis Teo for the next two years for the 2024/2026 term.
