in-cosmetics Asia, an APAC region exhibition for personal care ingredients, has announced more suppliers for the show.
According to in-cosmetics Asia, 400 exhibitors are set to join the line-up. Of this number, over 60 will be exhibiting for the first time. The show is set to take place at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) from 1-3 November.
A fresh look at sustainability
in-cosmetics’ line-up includes suppliers who have a focus on sustainable ingredients, including:
- Carbonwave, who will demonstrate their seaweed-based cosmetic emulsifier, SeaBalance 2000, which has already won several awards.
- AVT Natural will announce two new products - AVT QG40 and AVT QG90 - made with sustainably sourced quercetagetin extracted from the marigold flower.
- Eurofragrance, who will present their products with sustainable applications, such as confetti soap and solid conditioner, and an eco-conscious collection of products with vegan, sustainable and eco-certifiable fragrances.
- Groupe Elixens will present its new aromatic raw materials and highlight their range of natural ingredients that demonstrate the company’s commitment to sustainable development.
- Vital-Chem will showcase its natural skin regeneration ingredient, Shikonin (Shikon Extract) which promotes wound healing, and eliminates acne and acne scars.
- ROELMI HPC will introduce its microbiome-focused ingredients for skin wellbeing.
Combining science and nature
According to in-cosmetics Asia, exhibitors from 28 countries will meet with personal care creators, showcase new ingredients, and gain in-person feedback on their products and solutions. For several suppliers, this includes their ranges of products designed to combine “science and nature”:
- Croda Singapore will demonstrate its trio new products which include both naturally-sourced and and lab-created active ingredients.
- Forestwise will present its Organic FFL Kukui Nut Oil that is produced from wild, raw materials. They plan to highlight that it is now available for the first time in a fairtrade and organic grade.
- Rahn’s brand new Myramaze essence will also be available, which uses sensocosmetic active ingredients.
- Driven by the growing clean beauty movement, including upcycling unwanted by-products, Sensient Beauty will highlight its Natpure Xco Choco CC864 - an extract made from cocoa husks discarded by the chocolate industry.
Interactive areas for new ingredients
According to in-cosmetics, the show’s Innovation Zone, sponsored by Mibelle Biochemistry, is set to display more than 70 new ingredients and formulations. The Zone will act as a hub for new active and functional ingredients, with exhibitors including Croda, Ichimaru Pharcos and Chemyunion.
Furthermore, 2022’s Spotlight On product display will focus on three developing sectors: Fragrance, Healthy Skin and Make Up. Exhibitors here will include Cargill, Givaudan and DSM, who have announced that they will provide with attendees with an active hands-on experience.
Best Ingredients Award
The in-cosmetics Asia Innovation Zone Best Ingredients Awards will also return, which celebrates the best ingredients to be launched since March 2022.
Categories for the gold, silver, and bronze awards will include active and functional ingredients, alongside the best Spotlight On ingredients that focus on healthy skin, makeup and fragrances.
The award winners will be announced at the Innovation Zone on 2 November.
