Specialist global venue management consultancy, Germany-based jwc, has again joined hands with Chinese enterprises CMSK and OCT, this time to win the Global Idea Competition for the International C&E and Consumption Function area in Beijing Daxing Airport Zone.
jwc has already closely worked with both CMSK and OCT in developing and positioning giant venue Shenzhen World, creating strong additional demand for exhibition and conference space and setting new standards in venue quality.
The competition was organised to invite the world’s top business and planning teams to collect ideas and suggestions for the international C&E center, consumption hub and central park area in the Beijing Daxing Airport Zone. The team, led by CMSK & OCT, and consisting of the top companies in each field including AUBE Design, Runchuang Commercial, jwc GmbH etc., beat renowned companies from nine countries and was ranked number one.
The Daxing International C&E centre is situated in the eastern part of Daxing Airport Economic Zone, 40km south of Tian’anmen, 4km northeast of the new Beijing Daxing Airport. It will offer modern logistic and transportation systems with direct links to the Daxing airport and easy accessibility for exhibitors and visitors.
Jochen Witt, CEO of jwc, said: “We are happy to work together with CMSK and OCT again. Together with CMSK, OCT and other supporting team members, we have delivered a creative and feasible proposal for Daxing. We believe the Daxing venue will be a new engine for the growth of China’s convention and exhibition industry and China’s economy as a whole. It will also become a masterpiece for the global C&E community. We look forward to contributing our know-how and experience to develop and operate the Daxing venue. We continue to view China as one of the most important trade fair and conference markets globally and will further expand our activities in the areas of strategy and venue consulting.”
