The Germany-based international trade show for hotels, restaurants, bakery and confectionery sectors, INTERNORGA, has been re-scheduled from mid-March to 30 April-4 May. The show, which has a 100-year history, will now return at the Hamburg Messehallen, with the postponement due to the ongoing wave of Omicron throughout Europe.
Bernd Aufderheide, chairman of the management board at Hamburg Messe und Congress, stated: “We are aware of the increasing uncertainty among all those involved over the last 14 days and we are taking it seriously. But we also recognise the great need for the industry to finally meet and exchange ideas in person again. With that in mind, we are pleased to be able to offer these alternative dates.
Aufderheide added: “With the postponement of INTERNORGA, we want to give our exhibitors the greatest possible planning security and minimise their costs. And we also want our visitors to be able to walk through our trade fair centre doors at the end of April feeling good and safe.”
