The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) hosted the inaugural International Property Management and Procurement Expo (PROPEX), 4-6 November, with 8,000 industry professionals attending to source, trade and exchange insights with 216 exhibitor companies.
With over 350 exhibition stands, the PROPEX showcased a broad selection of property management products and services.
Mr CS Lee, director of COMASIA, the Hong Kong-based international exhibition organiser, said: “The debut PROPEX was a great success, with official support from local influential industry and professional associations. The success and good attendance proved that the market has a keen demand for smart property management services and related supporting facilities and products.”
Monica Lee-Müller, managing director of HKCEC, stated: “Although international exhibitors and buyers are still not able to attend events in Hong Kong physically due to travel restrictions related to the pandemic, PROPEX’s success shows that local industries and professionals have a thriving demand for physical trade exhibitions. In fact, the second edition of PROPEX at the HKCEC has been planned for 30 August-1 September 2022.”
Lee-Muller added: “We are well-geared to host quality exhibitions for more local industries to facilitate the recovery of Hong Kong’s exhibition and convention industry. Once Hong Kong’s border with the mainland reopens, these new trade exhibitions will also attract exhibitors and visitors from the Greater Bay Area, thus providing a strong impetus for Hong Kong’s economic development.”
