Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre has shown its creativity in making Global Exhibition Day (GED) face mask stickers as part of the campaign to get the message out that exhibitions are powerful and resilient platforms for reviving the economy.
The venue’s management company HML is backing global association of the exhibition industry UFI’s lead in celebrating #GED2021 on 2 June this year and the Hong Kong team tell EW: “Like many other sectors, the exhibition industry worldwide has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite of the challenges, we believe we have a key role in global economic recovery and are confident that, with stringent preventive measures, we can provide exhibitors and buyers a safe and comfortable environment for business connection.
"Already, 20 exhibitions have been successfully held at the HKCEC since January 2021, attracting thousands of local exhibitors and visitors. With vaccination programmes rolling out around the world, HML is ready to welcome international events and visitors back to Hong Kong and the HKCEC.”
