The Italian Exhibition Group is hosting sports events at its Rimini Expo Centre, as Italy moves towards reopening from lockdown.
The venue is hosting the International Volleyball Federation on 25 May, followed by gymnastics event Ginnastica in Festa, which takes place from 18-27 June.
IEG CEO Corrado Peraboni (pictured) said the upcoming sports events showed the venue could adapt to changing circumstances: “Our organizing expertise in the sector, and the acknowledged flexibility of the Rimini expo venue, now enable us to acquire new events.”
Peraboni added: “We are approaching an overall restart and the energy of sport is an excellent support for the future. The success of our Muscle Show in Dubai was the most effective demonstration of this.
“In Rimini, we have once again prepared ad hoc conditions, in total compliance with restrictions and protocols, but ready to exploit every planning opportunity.”
