Global restructuring and investment firm, Gordon Brothers, has been instructed to manage the sale of the assets of events production companies Blitz Communications Limited and MCL Create Limited. The firm said the sale provided an opportunity to acquire cost-effective specialist equipment.
MCL Create, located in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh and Blitz Communications, headquartered at Elstree, Hertfordshire, England provided a wide range of specialist, creative technical solutions for live events until both were forced into closure due to Covid-19 pandemic market conditions. Blitz went was liquidated in August, the same month that MCL Create went into administration.
Assets for sale via online auction include audio mixing desks, cameras as well as lighting and staging equipment.

The online auctions are now live and bidding will close on MCL Create assets on 22 October and on Blitz Communications assets on 5 November. Viewing is strictly by appointment only.
