Exposition Development Company, Inc. (ExpoDevCo) has announced it has acquired a 50% ownership in the New England Food Show (NEFS) in the United States, from the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) as part of a new joint venture agreement to run the shows starting with 2021.
ExpoDevCo is owned and managed by partners David Audrain and Stephanie Everett, tradeshow professionals with more than 46 years of combined experience managing, growing and launching exhibitions and events.
“Stephanie and I are thrilled to have this opportunity to add the New England Food Show to the ExpoDevCo Portfolio,” said Audrain.
“The very first trade show I produced almost 30 years ago was in the restaurant industry, and I grew up in a family of foodservice industry suppliers, so this is an industry I feel very connected to,” he added.
“The MRA has a wonderful team and deep connections with the New England foodservice industry. We are excited to partner with them to add our show experience to the mix to make New England Food Show the most successful it has ever been,” added Everett.
“Along with the MRA Board of Directors, I could not be more pleased to enter into this partnership with ExpoDevCo in managing the New England Food Show. ExpoDevCo brings a wealth of large national and regional tradeshow experience to the table, with a strong niche in the food service segment. We look forward to continuing the future growth of New England Food Show along with their talented team,” said Bob Luz, President & CEO of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association.
New England Food Show is the region’s largest restaurant and foodservice event serving both the food service and retail sectors and its next edition will be held February 21-23, 2021, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
