Chris Skeith, CEO of the UK's Association of Event Organisers (AEO), appeared on BBC News for a second time, 13 March.
Skeith provided an update on behalf of the events industry regarding Covid-19. He highlighted that events will be a crucial part of the recovery stage that follows the peak of the coronavirus pandemic.
He commented: “We’ve seen time and time again that events are a catalyst to drive economies in post-critical times. If we support the industry going forward, we’ll be able to kick-start the economy, get those airline and hotels working again.”
