The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has been hosting four major events in early December at its ADNEC centre in the Emirati capital.
The 13th International Society of Hemodialysis Congress closed on 8 December, having showcased the latest technologies in the field of hemodialysis and nephrology, in addition to advancements in research and clinical practices.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, ADNEC also hosted SIAL Middle East 2018 and Abu Dhabi International Date Palm Exhibition 2018, 10-12 December.
One of the most important events in the food, beverage and hospitality sectors, SIAL is a strategic platform for suppliers to meet buyers in the sector. Organisers said 1,000 exhibitors participated in the 2018 edition of the exhibition which attracted 20,000 visitors and experts.
ADNEC has also been hosting the IEEE Globecom Conference 9-13 December. The event gathered experts in global advancements in the field of communication.
The December ADNEC programme followed a busy November 2018, with seven major events, including the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2018), Aqdar World Summit, and the International Real Estate and Investment Show (IREIS).
