Crédit Agricole Assurances (@CA_Assurances) has entered into exclusive discussions with Charterhouse Capital Partners to acquire its stake in Comexposium.
Crédit Agricole will thus become the long-term partner of the group’s historical shareholder, the Paris-Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Comexposium is the co-leading largest exhibition organiser in France, the third largest player globally, and the largest ‘pure player’ worldwide.
Comexposium has 67 event brands, covering 11 business sectors, including events such as: SIAL, Intermat, Paris International Agricultural Show, SIMA and Foire de Paris.
Annually, Comexposium brings together more than 48,000 exhibitors and attracts 3.5m visitors in exhibitions around the globe.
Crédit Agricole Assurances is a leading bank insurer. It has 4,400 employees and sales at the end of 2017 amounted to €30.4bn.
