Italian PCO Ega has announced the appointment of Alain Pittet as executive director, to advise the agency in its next level of international development.

From the new branch in Switzerland, Pittet will lead a working group dedicated to the development of the international association congress business, including association consultancy to help scientific communities to develop and grow.

Claudia Maria Golinelli, vice-president and CEO of Ega, said: “I am very happy that Alain will be part of our team. With his experience and his managerial skills united to Ega’s international reputation and best practices, associations will be able to count on an innovative and reliable partner.”

Ega is a family company, with Gaetano Maria Dieni representing the third generation leading the strategy.
