Fort Lauderdale is set to become Emirates' second Florida destination with a daily service from Dubai set to start 15 December.
The route will be the eleventh offered by the Emirates to the US.
“We anticipate our service will contribute to the economy of South Florida by bringing new travelers to the area from across our route network, at the same time offering greater competitive choice for consumers,” Emirates president Tim Clark said in a statement.
The announcement comes 13 months after Emirates began service to Orlando.
