The fifth edition of Career Indaba at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg from 7 to 8 March featured 19,381 visitors over two days, up 160 per cent from last year’s 7,426 visitors.
Students, parents and teachers visited the free expo for practical knowledge on how students can succeed in their lives after school and studying.
Career Indaba offered 60 exhibitors, including an American pavilion of community colleges and Ivy League universities.
There were also more than 30 interactive workshop sessions, a parents evening and two days of networking opportunities with top corporates companies and further education institutions.
Career Indaba was held in partnership with SABC Education and the Department of Basic Education.
