UAE – The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is in discussions with media company and marketer Al Hilal Group (AHG) to work together to bring exhibitions to the emirate.
In a meeting with AHG MD Ronnie Middleton at Bait Tijjar, BCCI chairman Dr Essam Fakhro said the Bahrain exhibition industry is a crucial factor in the economic growth of the emirate.
“Most developing countries are banking on this value-adding industry to diversify their economies and ensure more dividends,” he commented, adding that Bahrain boasts one of the “biggest and most modern centres in the region for holding specialised exhibitions”.
Also present at the meeting were BCCI board members Abdulhamid Al Kooheji and Kadhim Al Saed, Al Hilal Group project director Badea Marzook and BCCI labour market management and studies senior director Dr Mondher Al Khour.
