UK/BRAZIL - Business development company for the oil, gas, nuclear and offshore wind sectors, NOF Energy, has signed an agreement with a Brazilian organisation to strengthen business relations between the two memberships and expand their networks.
The Brazilian Federation of Industries of Rio Grande do Sol represents 45,000 factories employing 600,000 people and delegates came over to a NOF Energy exhibition to sign a two-year Global Partner Agreement. This will see the two companies share industry and economic information, and organise trade visits.
NOF Energy will now lead a delegation of UK companies to the Rio Oil and Gas exhibition in Rio de Janeiro and Suape Port, on the Brazilian east coast this September
Chairman of NOF Energy, Neil Kirkbride, says: “The federation is an important organisation in the Brazilian energy sector and this agreement will be of real benefit to our members. Brazil is a major export market for the UK supply chain and this agreement will encourage improved trading links and industry relationships.”
