Record number of overseas delegations descend on environmental event

UK - Environmental and sustainability exhibition and conference, Futuresource, has announced a record number of overseas trade visitors at this year’s edition.

Organisers, the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management, in conjunction with the Environmental Services Association (ESA) and UK Trade and Investment, have worked to bring buyers from 12 countries.

Delegations are travelling from Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Morocco, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and the USA.

“The event will provide the opportunity for those UK businesses, which are looking to widen their customer base overseas, to meet many new potential clients and customers," says ESA's director general, Barry Dennis.

The programme for the overseas visitors includes a session focusing on UK market opportunities and a 'Meet the Buyer' event, where UK companies and visitors will be able to pre-book meetings with foreign representatives.

Futuresource 2010 takes place 15-17 June at Excel London.
