Loechner rises to become president of Nielsen Expositions

USA – David Loechner has been promoted to president of Nielsen Expositions effective 1 June.

Loechner and couterpart Joe Randall were put in charge of Nielsen Expositions on 20 January, when current president Greg Farrar, , announced he would leave the company after 23 years to pursue new opportunities.

Loechner had been senior VP of Nielsen’s Retail Group. He will continue to be based in Southern California. Senior vice presidents Joe Randall and Mary Kay Sustek will report to Loechner, as will the executives who currently report to him.

Loechner is a member of the board of directors of the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO). He joined Nielsen in 2000 when Nielsen acquired Miller Freeman.
