UBM to debut TFM&A in India

INDIA – United Business Media says its integrated marketing and advertising solutions exhibition, Technology For Marketing and Advertising (TFM&A), will debut in India in 2011.

According to research from KPMG Analysis, the Indian advertising industry is expected to grow by 12 per cent in 2010 to INR246.9bn.

“We are not only impressed by the growing tradeshow industry here in India, but the research findings also indicate there is a strong need for a show like this,” says TFM&A portfolio director, Simon Mills. “We’re excited to be able to bring the show to India next April.”

And MD of UBM India, Sanjeev Khaira, also believes TFM&A’s expansion into India is perfectly timed. “Bringing the show to India means we can combine the growth and demands of corporate India with a globally recognised event. We believe the show will be a catalyst for the Indian market.”

TFM&A is also set to debut in China in August 2011, and recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of its UK edition.
