Convene Auckland 2010 sold out

NEW ZEALAND - The organiser of the meetings industry trade exhibition, Convene Auckland 2010, claims it has sold out of exhibition space.

ProMag Publishing show director and MICE guru Stu Freeman, says he has closed off exhibitor applications now for the annual 5,370sqm show at the Skycity Auckland Convention Centre on 20 April. Freeman says the show has also secured a record number of qualified buyers.

Launched in 2006 (as Meet Auckland) this year’s exhibition will host over 150 exhibitors and for the first time will include a group of buyers from Australia.

The venue, host of the show for the past two years, will be providing a breakfast and debate event for the first time. Panelists will include Skycity Convention Centre’s Peter Zileke, Convention Services NZ’s Paul Walker and a representative from Air New Zealand.
