Lippman Connects with new programme of virtual events for organisers

US-based Lippman Connects has launched, 22 May, eight virtual information-sharing experiences.

“Organisers have been telling us that the exchange of information has never been more important,” said Sam Lippman (pictured), President, Lippman Connects. “Pivoting our events to virtual allows executives, managers, marketers, and sales professionals to share up-to-the-minute information in real time from the safety of a home or office.”

First on the schedule is Digital Summit, a new series which debuts on 29 May followed by five more summits on a bi-weekly basis. Lippman will facilitate 90-minute discussions among 15 exhibition and convention professionals. Each will focus on an important topic previously selected by survey, as follows:

·       29 May — Take it from the Top
Where has Covid-19 taken our events? What are the next steps? How do we craft and manage communications, marketing, sales, and operations?

·       12 June — Safety is Job One
Health and safety measures for the exhibit floor, educational sessions, plenary addresses, and food, including meals, receptions, and hospitality events.

·       26 June — Format and Platform Decisions
How do we decide the right format: face-to-face, hybrid, or virtual? If hybrid or virtual, what are the best resources to find, research, and select the best platform(s)?

·       10 July — Pricing and Profit Models
Will transitioning from face-to-face to virtual or hybrid wreak havoc on your revenue model? What is the right pricing formula for exhibiting, sponsorship, and registration?

·       24 July — Bringing Back Exhibitors & Sponsors
Helping exhibitors and sponsors place value on hybrid and virtual events. Retooling sales for existing events (managing refunds, cancellations, and downsizing); and future events (assurances and payment terms).

·      7 August — Re-inventing Attendee Acquisition
What are the specialised talents, skills, and experience levels necessary to craft new campaigns for hybrid and virtual events? How can marketers acquire attendees amid safety concerns about face-to-face events?

Lippman Connects also announced that two face-to-face events originally scheduled to take place in Chicago have been retooled as virtual events. Exhibit Sales Roundtable (ESR) on 25 June will now be produced as the first ESR Virtual. The Attendee Acquisition Roundtable (AAR) on 30 July becomes the first AAR Virtual.

Like Exhibit Sales Roundtable, ESR Virtual features information-sharing and networking among executives, managers, and sales professionals, facilitated by Sam Lippman. Clients will explore proprietary data and hear from experts on how to work with exhibitors in the pandemic era.

AAR Virtual is geared to executives, managers and marketing specialists who have had to rip up their attendee acquisition plans and start all over again. The facilitated discussion will cover face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid events. Marketing experts from mdg will offer strategies and tactics that will work for events of all sizes.
