Integrated Systems Events (ISE) has appointed a senior tradeshow marketeer in the run-up to Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2021. Jo Mayer joins as senior director of marketing from EasyFairs and has over 20 years’ experience in tradeshows, conferences and B2B publishing.
ISE is the best-attended AV and systems integration tradeshow in the world and its latest edition attracted 116,000 visits and 1,300 exhibitors. In February 2021 organisers say the show will relocate to the Fira de Barcelona to accommodate its planned growth trajectory.
In her new role, Jo Mayer will be responsible for overseeing the company’s marketing and content strategy across multiple platforms.
“Jo is a hugely experienced tradeshow marketing professional, with an enviable track record of successful events to her name,” said Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrated Systems Events. “Her wealth of know-how and expertise will bolster our existing team and also drive new audiences and formats. Jo joins us at a time of significant upheaval for the events and pro AV industries alike and I am looking forward to tackling these challenges with her.”

Mayer will take her place alongside operations director André Hooijer, as part of the Integrated Systems Events senior leadership Team (SLT). The third member of the SLT is George Buckingham, recently promoted to senior sales director, who joined the company at the start of 2019 from Haymarket. The SLT reports directly to Blackman.
