INTERNORGA, a leading international trade show for the hospitality and food service market sector, says it is moving to accommodate fast moving trends and disruptive concepts in the sector by announcing a strategic revamp of its exhibition hall allocation from 2020.
The new structure is designed to meet demands of changing markets and individual segments, as organisers acknowledge new players entering the industry and new business fields emerging, all of which is blurring previous borders.
INTERNORGA has decided to re-allocate more than 100,000sqm from 2020 onwards. “We are convinced the new allocation of areas and market segments will give the best possible structure for all exhibitors and visitors,” says Claudia Johannsen, Business Unit Director at Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH.
Organisers say the move is also in response to requests by exhibitors, and should help them reduce long waiting lists.
“The new structure enables us to improve the focus of the individual thematic segments for our various visitor target groups in the food service and hospitality markets,” adds Johannsen.
“New market players and new business sectors in the industry will benefit from the future allocation plan, as will regular exhibitors and visitors. INTERNORGA moves forward stronger and better structured than ever with the Hall Plan 2020. I look forward to implementing it,” she says.
INTERNORGA will be held at the Hamburg Messe und Congress site, 15-19 March 2019, with organisers expecting 1,300 exhibitors and 95,000 trade visitors.
INTERNORGA is recognised by the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) as Germany’s only international trade show for the HORECA industry.
