Thirty-two delegates for the 88th UFI Congress joined the Exhibition World team in the Postilion Hotel and Convention Centre WTC Rotterdam for a pre-Congress get-together informal drinks on 2 November.
Colleagues had a chance to meet - many had not seen each other in person for many months - and there was a clear buzz in the air.
The networking opportunity is the first launch in Exhibition World's ‘EW Meets’ series of social events timed to coincide with key events in the calendar for exhibition industry professionals.
“After being apart for so long, we want to do our best to bring our best minds together on a regular basis to relax and network before some of the big events in the industry year,” said Iain Stirling, EW international director.
EW guest editor Paul Woodward added: “The evening was a great precursor to the Congress and a grand opportunity to catch up again with many old and new industry friends.”
