The world’s largest tech trade show, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), will be returning to Las Vegas from 5 – 8 January – hosted at a variety of venues, including The Venetian Convention and Expo Center.
Today’s opening to the public follows two media-only days, which took place at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
CES 2023 is set to showcase brands and technology from a wide variety of tech sectors, such as computing, automobiles, mobile, transport, and home appliances. Across 3 – 4 January large companies such as Samsung, BMW, Sony, and Nvidia released announcements to the media about their upcoming technology; these included Samsung’s new foldable screens and BMW’s augmented reality (AR) dashboard concepts.
The show is also set to provide collaboration and networking opportunities, demonstrate uses of the metaverse throughout various industries, and highlight global advancements towards sustainability.
According to CES 2023, the show is expecting over 3200 exhibitors and attendees from about 173 countries, regions, and territories. Among these attendees are set to be 323 Fortune Global 500 companies, and 85 Interbrand 100 companies.
Over half of attendees are expected to be senior level, including C-suite, with an average of 29 meetings expected to be conducted on-site at the show. Across all the attendees, exhibitors, and buyers, 41 different technology sectors are set to be represented.
