UK-based organiser i2i Group is calling on the trade show community to support a worldwide bid to share the United Nations’ Global Goals with seven billion people in seven days.
On 25 September, world leaders will meet at the United Nations in New York to commit to 17 goals that aim to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and end climate change, within the next 15 years.
Digital campaign Project Everyone, founded by British film director and humanitarian Richard Curtis, strives to share the UN’s goals with seven billion people this month.
I2i Group is among the businesses, celebrities and community members signed up to share the message with the goal to ‘tell everyone’.
“Project Everyone is something I firmly believe in, so let’s tell everyone and, if you can, galvanise your business to join in,” said Julie Driscoll, portfolio director for Pure London, Pure Shanghai and Jewellery & Watch.
